About ScienceSays
Hi everybody-
Science Says was created to address scientific, environmental, and conservation issues in a straight-forward, accessible way.
Many people in the sciences pride themselves on being inaccessible, but I believe that science is only as important as the people who hear about it and can learn from it. In this blog, I’m going to use my background in biology, relgious studies, and international politics to try to make things as clear as possible and explain why some of the more confusing things are actually important.
A lot of what I write in this blog will be about conservation, and specifically endangered species. My personal passion is helping people to better understand why animals that may be scary or unimportant to us are still worth saving, and why they may be essential for the health of our planet.
I’m also very interested in tourism and travel, and at times will address ways in which we all can be more responsible travelers and special places or things that I think people should see.
Thanks for taking a look, and I hope you’ll keep an eye on this space.
